A: Yes, we strongly recommend installing a commercial water filter. While the Brema features a cleanable anti-scale filter, external filtration ensures your ice is tasteless and crystal clear, whilst protecting the internal pump’s longevity.

Q: Does it have a drain pump?

A: The standard CB184 relies on a gravity drain (the drain hose must flow downwards to a floor trap). If your drain pipe is positioned higher than the machine, you will need to purchase an external condensate waste pump.

Q: What is the power requirement?

A: It runs on a standard 220-240V / 50Hz connection and consumes approximately 320W, making it highly energy efficient for its production class.
