How to choose a cake display chiller
Measure the counter space first, then allow room at the back for staff to open the sliding doors.
- Width: 90 cm suits small cafés, 120 cm is the most popular for cafés and bakeries, and 150–180 cm suits bakeries with a wide range.
- Square or curved glass: square glass gives more usable shelf space; curved glass gives a softer, premium look.
- Temperature: cakes and pastries are displayed between about +2 °C and +10 °C. Chocolate needs a dedicated chocolate display chiller.
- Cooling: fan (ventilated) cooling keeps the temperature even on every shelf in the UAE heat.
- Delivery route: check doorways against the unit depth (about 72–74 cm) before ordering.

Which size of cake display chiller do I need?
For a small café or kiosk, 90 cm is usually enough. 120 cm is the most common choice for cafés and bakeries. Choose 150 or 180 cm if you display many whole cakes or a full bakery range.
What temperature should a cake display chiller keep?
Most cakes and pastries are displayed between +2 °C and +10 °C. Check each model’s range on its product page.
